We Built RecruitRadar Because We Were Lost With College Sports Recruiting
RecruitRadar — Find schools, track coaches, and manage the recruiting process. Built by parents who needed it.

My son is a talented basketball player. He’s not 6’7” with a highlight reel that goes viral overnight; but he’s good. Really good. We’ve heard it from coaches and trainers who know the game: he has potential to play at the college level, maybe D2, possibly even D1.
That should be exciting news; and it is. But it also opened a door to a process we knew absolutely nothing about.
The Questions That Kept Us Up at Night
When you realize your kid might actually have a shot at playing college ball, it’s exciting, but also overwhelming. Where do we start?
What schools should we be looking at? We didn’t know the difference between D1, D2, D3, or NAIA schools, let alone which schools had programs worth targeting. We didn’t know who the coaches were, how to find their contact information, or how to even get on their radar.
We’re just parents both working full time jobs. We love our son. We want to do right by him. And we were starting from zero.
The Problem: Data Is Scattered
The information exists — school divisions, conference affiliations, coaching rosters, contact details. The problem is that it lives across thousands of different websites, and keeping track of it manually is impossible.
Coaches change programs all the time. A school you researched last month might have a completely different staff today. If you reach out to a coach who’s no longer there, you’ve wasted the effort, and potentially started that school’s recruiting relationship on the wrong foot.
What We Built, and Why
RecruitRadar started as a personal project to solve our own problem. We wanted one place to:
- Find schools — search and filter by academics, location, division, conference, enrollment, and more

- See who’s coaching — current staff, titles, and contact information, all in one place

- Track the schools you care about — build your personal list and keep everything organized in one place instead of in spreadsheets or scattered across browser tabs

- Get notified when coaching rosters change — when a school updates their coaching staff page, we’ll alert you so you’re never reaching out with stale information
Recruiting is about relationships, and relationships start with knowing who you’re actually talking to. We monitor school coaching pages regularly so you don’t have to; when the staff changes, you’ll know.
The core idea is simple: recruiting intelligence for families who aren’t recruiting insiders.
We’re not blasting emails to coaches on your behalf or promising offers. We’re giving you the information you need to make smart decisions, track the recruiting process, know who to contact to enable real conversations, and share your student-athlete’s profile directly with coaches and see when they’ve viewed it.
Who RecruitRadar Is For
If your student-athlete has aspirations to play at the college level — in any sport, at any division — and you’re the parent trying to figure out how to help them get there, RecruitRadar was built for you.
You don’t need to be an expert. You just need the right data, organized in a way that makes sense, so you can show up informed and give your kid the best possible shot.
